A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
As Principal of Greenhills Community College, I am very proud to lead a community of dedicated staff, committed parents and enthusiastic students. We are an all-boys’ second-level school and a Further Education College, under the auspices of Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board. We were established in 1970 and have been a central focus of the community since then.
Our students are at the centre of everything we do in the College. We work closely together so that students grow and mature into well-rounded young adults. Our second-level school is a small friendly school. We get to know students as individuals and encourage and support them to achieve their full potential. We offer a wide range of subjects at Junior and Leaving Certificate level as well as Transition Year. Our classes are small but subjects are offered at all levels. We encourage our students to take part in the many extra-curricular activities available in the areas of Sports, Cookery Club, Lego Club and many more. Evening study and lunches are also provided free of charge to second-level students.
Our Further Education College offers a wide range of full and part-time day courses. Pre-University courses, Healthcare and Childcare are just some of the programmes on offer. Whether you wish to progress to Third Level or are returning to education after a long absence, you will receive a warm welcome and every encouragement and assistance to achieve your goals.
I hope you enjoy browsing our website and following our Twitter feeds and Facebook pages. You will see what a vibrant college we are.
Ann Bray, Greenhills Community College Principal
